Mr Nick Gormack — Orthopaedic Surgeon

Mr Nick Gormack is a New Zealand-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon educated at the University of Auckland Medical School, completing his orthopaedic training in 2014. He holds membership in the New Zealand Orthopaedic Association and Fellowship credentials with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS Ortho).

Appointed as Orthopaedic Consultant at Middlemore Hospital in 2017, he specialises in sports injuries and arthritis management of the hip and knee. His surgical expertise includes arthroscopic procedures of the hip, knee, and shoulder, plus joint replacement and revision work.

Practice volumes reflect this subspecialty focus: over 100 computer-navigated total knee replacements every year, an active hip-preservation and anterior-approach hip replacement caseload, and ongoing complex trauma management at Middlemore Hospital.
