Biography
Mr Nick Gormack is a New Zealand-trained orthopaedic surgeon educated at the University of Auckland Medical School, completing his orthopaedic training in 2014.
He holds membership in the New Zealand Orthopaedic Association and Fellowship credentials with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS Orth). Appointed Orthopaedic Consultant at Middlemore Hospital in 2017, he specialises in sports injuries and arthritis management of the hip and knee. His surgical expertise includes arthroscopic procedures of the hip, knee, and shoulder, plus joint replacement and revision work.
Following his FRACS, Mr Gormack pursued three international fellowships — Perth, London, and Bristol — gaining specialist expertise in young adult hip preservation, complex arthroplasty, and arthroscopic surgery rarely concentrated in one surgeon's training.
